Washington Private Day Nursery opened in the spring of 2004. With just 32 places our aim was to deliver a unique small and personal childcare service centred on the needs of children as individuals. We are situated within the grounds of Blackfell Primary School, in Blackfell Village, Washington. Just off the A1231 ½ mile from the Mill House roundabout we are convenient for the A1M and the Team Valley.

Set in a tranquil secure location within school grounds the nursery operates in a light and airy open space for the older children with a separate cosy room for the babies.

It is safe for parents dropping off children, as it is a no through road. The nursery has received an impressive Ofsted report. We operate an equal opportunities policy for both staff and children alike and works hard to integrate children with a variety of needs into all aspects of nursery life.
