The daffodils share the room with the slightly older sunflowers. They have their own areas but are free to join in the older groups. They begin to experience role play, home corner, sand and water, music and movement.

The staff to child ratio for two year olds is one to four. The staff are highly experienced individuals, many mothers themselves.

This is the bridge between the Birth to Three Framework and the Foundation Stage. Children are encouraged to develop relationships and their socialisation skills with the other children and the staff. They can interact with older children and experience small group time but develop at their own pace.
